VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Become a Community Ambassador
Community Ambassadors serve as a representative of The Connect Center in the community.
Responsibilities include:
- Share our mission within the community
- Raise awareness about programs and services
- Invite others to volunteer and support our work
Event Planning Volunteer
As an Event Planning Volunteer you will support the behind-the-scenes organization of community gatherings.
Responsibilities include:
- Brainstorm ideas, themes, and activities
- Assist with logistics and preparation
- Coordinate with local vendors and partners
Fundraising Support Volunteer
As a Fundraising Support Volunteer you will help generate the resources that sustain our programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop creative fundraising ideas
- Assist with campaign planning
- Support implementation of fundraising initiatives
Data & Administrative Volunteer
As a Data or Administrative Volunter you will provide essential behind-the-scenes support.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with data entry and database maintenance
- Organize digital files
- Prepare materials for workshops and event
After School Program Volunteer
As an After School Program Volunteer, you will be a mentor for local K–12 students.
Responsibilities include:
- Support homework and academic projects
- Facilitate social-emotional learning activities
- Foster a safe and encouraging environment
- Build positive relationships with students and families
Family or Youth Mentor
Provide support to youth and families within specific requested areas.
Responsibilities include:
- Build trusting relationships with assigned families
- Assist with resume development and LinkedIn profiles
- Provide job search guidance and encouragement
- Help parents navigate community resources
- Model healthy communication and goal setting
- Teach sustainable organization habits
Class or Workshop Instructor
Share your expertise to equip and empower others.
Responsibilities may include:
- Lead short-term workshops or one time class (financial literacy, cooking, parenting, digital skills, organizing, etc.)
- Create simple, engaging materials for participants
