BETTER GOALS, BRIGHTER FUTURES
It can be difficult to dream of obtaining a better career or attending college when you are a low-income parent, have a mental or physical health diagnosis, and other barriers. Often, people with low-incomes don’t pursue better careers due to lack of encouragement and support. TCC’s Career Connections Program provides opportunities to make these dreams become a reality.
After assessing strengths and skills, TCC Advocates help clients pursue living wage careers with a personalized plan that supports getting promoted, going to college, or starting their own business. Through long-term guidance and support of TCC Advocates, clients learn to set better personal and family goals that lead to brighter futures.
